Baptisms take place on the first Sunday of the month either at the 10am Family Service in Christ Church (Malling Road) or at the 5pm Service in All Saints Church (by Snodland station). During a baptism service important promises and commitments are made and the child or adult is welcomed into the family of the church. The water at baptism signifies the new life that God wishes us to know through Jesus. Adults and young people who are over 12 years old and wish to be baptised, are old enough to answer for themselves. They are normally therefore baptised (without godparents speaking for them), confirmed around the same time, and given appropriate preparation. Below you will find an application form and also a leaflet which will hopefully answer many of your questions. For all inquiries, please contact the Rector, Rev’d Danielle Pearson-Smith, on 01634 240232 or e-mail her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
