Get Involved – All Saints Church Project

Are you passionate about local history?
Keen to share our local heritage with all ages?
Wanting to help out in some way in your community?

As part of the All Saints Church Project and ongoing activities at the church, we have a range of opportunities for people to get involved. You can do as much or as little as you’d like.
We want to ensure that All Saints Church continues to
be accessed by the local community and it’s rich
heritage shared and this is where you can help. We have plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in the
forthcoming events, assisting visiting groups, helping with activities and more.
Examples of where you can help include:
- Welcoming visitors at our events
- Leading guided history tours – training would be given
- Leading a historical talk
- Serving refreshments
- Assisting with visiting school group sessions during the school day, whether learning about pilgrimage, the church history or religion for example
- Assisting with uniformed groups late afternoon/early evening, which can contribute toward their badges for faith , community or nature
- Helping research and develop content for display material and interpretation
- Helping plan and run activities at our Messy Church events
- Being involved with our Green Team, who are passionate about the environment and doing what we all can at our church buildings and grounds*
* We are part of the A Rocha Eco-Church and the Kent Wildlife Trust Wilder Kent Awards schemes, working towards our Silver award at All Saints Church with our Eco-Church work.
So, if something has caught your eye and you want to find out more or get involved in some way, please get in touch. We’d love to have you as part of our team of helpers
