Baptisms / Christenings

Baptism or Christening, what is the difference?

Both of these are the same thing, just different names….during the service the baby, young person or adult will be baptised with water.

Getting Married

Marriage is one of the most important decisions you will ever make. Getting married in church is about far more than just a legal contract, it highlights the deeper spiritual aspects of a couple’s commitment to one another.

We are licenced to conduct wedding services at both All Saints Church in Mill Street and Christ Church on Malling Road.

If you are thinking about getting married or having your marriage blessed in church, please contact the Rector Rev Danielle Pearson-Smith, who would love to have a chat with you.

Marriage Blessings

Some couples who have undergone a civil ceremony feel at a later date that they would like a church blessing. Our church in Snodland can offer a ‘Service of Thanksgiving for a Marriage’.

Couples who wish to celebrate an important wedding anniversary can find an adapted version of this service an appropriate and meaningful way to mark their special occasion.

Funerals

We are here to help you through one of life’s most difficult times. You do not need to have been a regular worshipper in order to approach us. A Church of England funeral is available to everyone, giving support before, during and after the service, for as long as it’s needed.

Please feel free to contact us if you feel we can be of assistance.

Burial of Ashes

After a cremation, families may like to have their loved one’s ashes buried in our garden of remembrance in the grounds of Christ Church.
